Now that's funny. It's in the distributor with the ignitor. Seriously, go to Pertronix website, or just use the socialism search engine, better known as google, and look it up.

Searched the Pertronix web site; closest I got was "Magnet sleeve". Appears to be eight different part numbers to fit various distributors.

Example:

If their points conversion kits have a "magneto", you'll have to give me a link, 'cause I'm too stupid to find it on my own.

Are we still talking about the same vehicle here? This exact kit is what's in my Wife's car (67 Buick Special):


The fourth pic in that link is the "magneto" lol. It's actually a Hall Effect magnet.
