Yea I just do not want to get tires that are onle inch bigger than my stockers . I want a mild lift look but not with stock looking diameter tires. Being on a budget, spending 1000 for gears isn't exactly ideal. Wish I had 3.73s....stock I mean lol

i'm have 3.42s in mine now with 315/75 16s, and with the 5 speed, it ain't bad, but i wouldn't recommend towing at all. but on that same note i am building a 6 lug 14 bolt SF right now with 4.56s, an ARB air locker, and disc brakes, and i can't wait to have it out and the front regeared, oh, and to be able to actually use OD and tow again without much fuss from the clutch and trans

It just depends. I'd say most 4x4 trucks were either 3.42 or 3.73. Some would of had the 3.08.

And if your rear end isnt original or if your questioning the gearing 3.73 gears have 41 ring teeth and 11 pinion teeth. I have 3.73's with 33's (285-75/16) and I would not want any more than that, Which is why I have held of a 6" rcx. regearing is just too much money.
