    Hello all,

Thank you for all your help on this page. I have been reading these forum posts for months now and I have learned quite a lot. Figured it's about time I joined and contributed to the page myself!

I have a 2000 Chevy K2500 Crew Cab Short Bed that I got about 3 weeks ago. I had a 1998 Chevy K1500, but a shop wrecked it after they picked it up on the way to their shop (long story). Now I have this beast and I'm very pleased with it. Cosmetically, we have a long way to go, but mechanically, this truck is near flawless. Already put 2 small road trips in it with no problems whatsoever!

Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear about your K1500, but the replacement looks pretty decent!

Sweet truck. I like the CCSB! I would paint it white. GM Summit White is a really nice white if you want something a little different than your current white. I don't know the exact name of the white currently on your truck but it doesn't look as bright as Summit White, but maybe it is. Being that your truck is already white you wouldn't have to do as much work with the jambs as if you were changing the color.

Welcome to the forum. My last truck was metallic grey with black inserts. It looked good in the sunlight.

Welcome Grayson. Never been a fan of white vehicles myself, but a nice Silver would look good. I like blue too, though.

What is the orange car up ahead? Buick, Oldsmobile?

Looks like it could be an early 70's monte carlo but the pic is kinda stretched with that angle so it's hard to tell

I looked at it a few months ago. I think it was a Buick, but my memory is fleeting on that one.

I really like the idea of a dark blue. My wife and I saw a newer Silverado in a dark blue we really liked. I think they call it Northsky Blue Metallic.

Good looking rig. I would go with white. But that's just me. What size wheel/tire combo is on your truck? And welcome to the board.
