2000 2wd 2500 crewcab bigger tires equals better mpg?

Might be a stupid question but I have a 2500 with I believe 373 gears 14 bolt rear end.. I want to know if I put taller tires I should turn less rpm so intern use less gas..correct me if I'm wrong or help out with any info..also could I put diff leafs on it to make it ride better? Any help out comments appreciated

It depends on what kind of driving you do in theory if you do alot of highway driving it should help

You also have to factor in wieght as well. Just a switch from steelies to py0s or a lighter wieght alloys would probably notice a bigger improvement

Too many factors involved to say yes or no on MPG.

All that can be conclusively said is that it will lower Engine RPM for a given road speed.

Yea I have stock steelies and 265 75 16 10 ply firestones.. I haven't decided the next tires size I'm going to..want to see the input on what size I could safely run

Do basically all 0_65 mph about 45 miles a day total minimum going to work then going to get my son after work..and its mainly open roads some stops but many..so equivalent to highway id say

Py0 is the rpo for the hd aluminum wheels. I believe great white stated that they were lighter then the factory steel wheels
