I used all Yukon parts - axles, R&P, rebuild kit, etc.,.... replaced the G-bomb with a Detroit Helical locker, with a set of ProComp traction bars. When it lights up those 35” BFG AT’s,...she burns straight and lays down equal thickness/ blackness rubber.

Like said above, shimming/ gear mesh pattern, and right preload, goes a long way for longevity.

But, I don’t do burnouts with my truck,.....did a couple times, just to see if it would drift side to side - testing locker and traction bars. She’s plenty quick enough just slow rolling into the pedal (for a 4x4). Spanked a new Dodge truck the other night,.... ol boy asked, at the next light, WTF you got in that thang? I said, wanna go again?
