Hello all, I hope this is the correct thread.

I was under my truck the other day trying to identify possible problems and I noticed the muffler was labeled "FlowMaster" on the top. I thought I had stock exaust. Is this definitely aftermarket? Did GM use FlowMaster exhausts out of the factory in 1997? Thanks for anyones help. Attatching photos.

That is not a stock muffler weld on that pipe. That looks aftermarket to me. I used to use FlowMaster mufflers but as I get older, I like stealth. I like the quiet.
