I have a pair off my 88 5.7L sitting on the shelf in my shop. What size engine do you have?has anyone got photo's of the stock factory exhaust manifolds for a 92 K1500?
It's also the 5.7 Peter!I have a pair off my 88 5.7L sitting on the shelf in my shop. What size engine do you have?
AFAIK they're all the same for 5.7L and 5.0L of course 4.3 and 7.4 are different. Mine are CA ones with the A.I.R. bungs. They can be plugged with an M22-1.5 pipe plug. Are all TBI exhaust manifold pairs the same other than some have AIR provisions and some don't?
on over 8600gvw trucks there's no heated-air intake. beats me why.a stove on the right side for the heated-air intake to the air cleaner.
but they wouldn't bolt to the tbi exhaust. you'll need to get the whole vortec system.VORTEC exhaust manifolds are similar, but have an additional bung on the left manifold for the convoluted tubing and fitting used on the EGR system. But plug the extra bung, and they're usable on TBI engines.
Good day folks
I appreciate it's a big ask but has anyone got photo's of the stock factory exhaust manifolds for a 92 K1500? I'm on the lookout here in the UK for a pair but obviously want to get it right!
Both of my TBI 454s have a heated air intake; although I’m not sure if the 350s are the same wayon over 8600gvw trucks there's no heated-air intake. beats me why.
