Happy labor day everybody.
Just joined the gmt-400 crew
I scored my dream work truck recently and I felt like showing it off.
I do landscaping work and I needed to replace my old 1973 dodge.
Every single company I have worked for has had GMT 400 AND GMT 800 , so when It came time for me to upgrade it was clear what I was after. I have seen these truck go though hell and back. So I'm stoked to own this factory original unit.
The previous and first owner was a construction boss. So the truck had been worked definitely not beaten on.
It wasn't driven a lot 49,*** when I got it, Just about every thing on it was factory. The body and interior are mint, but the powertrain some things are worn out mostly to age.
so far I have replaced the belts, hoses , shocks, 02senosrs , put in a new rad, next is a tranny flush. then brakes.
I have been splitting my work between the trucks, while I get this one completely ready for full time service.
hopefully I'm not to far away.
