1997 350 vortec heads and intake on 1990 tbi 350?

ive got a 1997 chevrolet z71 with a vortec 350. my question is can i put the 1990 350 block out of donor truck and install the 1997 vortec heads and intake on 1990 block? any problems doing the swap? any special parts needed? will it even work? thanks in advance

You can get a TBI to Vortec heads intake manifold that will make the swap much easier. Your current throttle body and accessories will not mount to a stock Vortec intake.

i'm not wanting to run the tbi on the 1990 block. i'm wanting to run the sequential fuel injection (vortec) heads and intake on the 1990 block. I've seen the edelbrock 2116 intake to run the tbi on the vortec heads but im not wanting to run the tbi being its gonna be going in the 1997 truck thanks

The top end swaps, I believe the problem will be with can and crank sensors
