This will take a little time to do, shallow pockets hinder quick builds.

I purchased this 1996 4.3 LWB from a cool guy that just used it as a truck.
The truck was not the clean driver I was truly seeking however, once I saw her it was all over! We made a nice cash deal and off I went. Knowing I have to spend a lot to get her where I would like her really does not matter. I started with the removal of the heavily worn bench seat and the plastic floor Liner. Cruising FB market place I stumbled across a very decent bucket seats from a Tahoe along with the center console. Since I have very little room for storage I went ahead and put the seats in. Already she is feeling much better... I will be seeking more deals as I move along but the carpet will be New.

Last week I ordered a new steering shaft for my s10 (Jeep Cherokee model) and as soon as the box arrived I knew I ordered the wrong unit.
Funny part is that the unit I actually ordered fits my new fullsize with a little fabrication. Sad part is the s10 has to wait.....

I began replacing dash parts that were damaged thankfully everything is easily removable. The glove box, ash tray, cig lighter aux doors were unsprung and the small hinge was broken and the panel above the knees under the steering column were cracked and had tons of small screw holes. The dash itself was amazingly flawless just extremely dirty so I gave it some soap and water let it dry then hit it with some shiny stuff. After cleaning and junk yard hunting I chose to 2 tone the dash so now it is at a comfortable Blue and gray mix how suiting since my favorite Football team happens to be The Cowboys. It will have a bunch more gray coming such as: carpet, door panels, kick panels, sill plates, seat belts, headliner and sun visors.
