1995 check engine light question

Hey guys.

I was wondering how to find out the check engine light codes.

It's a 95 Sierra, it looks like the same OBD connector as my 85 impala.

Could I just jump the pins and count the CEL flashes like I did with my impala?

I could snap a pic of the connector if needed.

Yup, jump terminals A and B.

Note that 16 pin like obd II connector non scan jumper is only for 1995 chevy models, that are obd I , 1995 models are obd I compliant
