Well all that stuff is plug and play, sounds like the only Frankensteined bits are going to be the parts you wired to the truck. That's just gauges and power/ground A/C bits and the like. I imagine you'll need a 1991 K5 DRAC to get your speedo working if it's wired and not working now. Do you have all signals present on the ECM? Tach, coolant temp, IAT, MAF (was 94 MAF?), etc. Does TPS respond to your foot?

Everything thru the ECM seems to be readin correctly. I didnt think about the drac....can i use a 91 with the 94 ecm tho?? You thinking the 94 ecm and drac are sendig a signal the 91 speedo cant read?

Tps signal good. Just adjusted it back into the proper ranges. Ill have to test it tomorrow if i get time. The speedo shouldn't effect the shifting tho bc the ecm is already getting the proper numbers from that. Rpms are reading properly also. Im gonna look around for a spare ecm and maybe try another one to eliminate a possible back chip scenario.

Think i may have found the issue. Scrolled down more on the data and noticed that its reading "4WD Low: ON". Im not using any of the 4wd harness so why is it getting that signal?

That's exactly it! My truck won't shift out of 1st when I'm in 4lo because I haven't flashed in an appropriate segment that has provision for 4lo (I'm lazy and never use it). I'll see what I can see in my book as far as wiring goes for that one.

My Haynes manual had nothing, going to have to dig more. Basically you'll need to trick the PCM into thinking you're not in 4lo. To make it 100% right, you'd need to wire up the t-case but that's likely an issue because K5.

I got it. Grounded F8 pin on the PCM. That took it out of 4Low mode. Ill test drive it tomorrow and see how we look.

Ok...current situation lol (one thing after another when building from scrape)

Im in limp mode now. Drives the same with or without the harness hooked up; R,3rd, 2nd manually. Speedo works now if im over 30mph but its way different from what the pcm data shows. And i THINK that when the harness was hooked up the pcm put it in lockup once for no reason. So im gonna try and find a spare pcm and drac to test the idea that they maybe bad. I did already confirm pin E on is hot on the transmission.
