My two center AC vents are broken. Not just loose as most of them are, I mean actually broken. I'm gonna make a junkyard run to try to find some spares, but I was hoping someone could clue me in. How do you remove the center trim panel and the vents themselves? I tried searching around but didn't find much, so sorry if this has been covered before.

Here is the truck in question and the dash piece I need help with:

For this just get a wide flat screwdriver and pry it under the bottom under the stereo. There are two clips there that go into the dash. Pop the bottom out and then pull down and the top will come free. It's real easy to get out.

There are also two plastic clips at the top, so start at the bottom first. After the two metal clips are free, just tilt and lift it out.

you really shouldn't need a screwdriver, just grab it on the bottom and pull towards yourself.
