Weird, never heard of a sanctioned drag race that wasn't timed. Do you have an old Gtech kicking around or something?
It was something they wanted to put on to get some attendance. Not many full size truck races going on.
And for no prep and times since it was on a Saturday. Their regular track days are Sundays too.

My buddy's 86 c1500 ran 13.0-13.1s on motor. And he had to spray to get a fender on me.

I'll wait for them to get their new timing system in place before I go back.

Love it man. Looks like she moves out well!

Just judging from the time stamp on the video it looks like 8.5 - 9ish seconds from when the guy drops his hands to you getting to the cones.

Thanks!
I figured it would be a mid 12 or so like it is.

I've got this converter in there that's a 2600 but it's tight.

I've one these I gotta send off and get it cut n cleaned and updated.
I'm thinking about getting them to raise the stall to 3800 or so.

That and about 10 more PSI and it should move on out.
I'm gonna see how far it will go on these nitto 420s.

Here is my buddy's truck I was racing in the video above.

This video he was in the soft tire class and hurt some feelings.
25+ year old 383
225 shot (stand alone fuel system with 120XP fuel)
Th350
4000 stall
3.08 gears
28x10.5 slick

Never seen anybody pull a tire with 3.08 gears.. especially a 4300# truck on a foot brake.

Work truck tonight.
Hauling steel out to the farm in the morning to build a heavy duty work table.
425# 5/16" plate
180# 4" square tubing .375" wall
75# 3" C-channel
150# 2" square tubing .25" wall

It's sitting really low in the rear.

I'm thinking about cutting my shackles and extending them some to lower the rear and adjust the rear shock mounting location.

Looked at the odometer on my tablet earlier.
Put just over 4000 miles on it since January.
Finally got some land so gonna just drive the truck till i get the shop built. Then I'll be doing the better Circle D converter and 3.08 gears with alot more boost.

Ended up making these to go on my other rear axle with 3.08s. I guessed at my ride height and didn't mount my shocks right.
So now I'll have a few inches of adjustment.

This is my test piece. Had to make some adjustments and recut. But you get the idea.
