1500??? 2500???

Does anyone know the specific difference between the 1500 and 2500 ???? Everything looks pretty much the same to me

I believe there was HD versions of 2500’s with 8 lug. Either way, the 2500 had beefier(3/4 ton) suspension.

5 or 6 lug (1500 or 2500) vs 8 lug (2500/3500) major differences:

Different transmissions
Different frames
Different brakes
Different rear axle
Different front suspension

Do a search please, lots of threads here on the subject.

But if you are asking about body parts, i.e., fenders, beds, hoods, etc., they are the same.
