I'm looking for the housing width measurement of one of these axles.

Also if you have the axle shafts removed post a picture of it and what it is out of.
On this I'm curious about the measurement from the splines to the area riding inside of the wheel bearing

I have a feeling that the housings are the same width and axle shaft length is the only thing that varies.

So I found these
http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/R2015.html

They are listed as for a 14 bolt Full floater. After some research seems brake backing plates from a full floater and semi floater have the same pattern. That means this brake bracket should work for swapping to 1/2 ton 99+ disks onto a 6 lug 9.5 14 bolt.
This would require welding obviously but would eliminate the need for a spacer AND would allow for clocking the bracket to position the calipers wherever you want them
