My 1999 Tahoe has never had an awesome brake pedal with the engine running. When the trucks off and no vacuum supplied to the master, it feels like a firm pedal. I've heard a rumor that these trucks have a sensor that decides how much vacuum the booster gets and when it goes bad it overboosts...- TwistedTahoe

Help Needed - Rear Speed Sensor Wiring Leads to Nowhere. w/ PICS
1998 K2500 ECSB has had a code C0236 (missing rear speed sensor) since purchased. I disassembled the wiring harness to look for a short and revealed that the wires from the rear speed sensor on the transfer case output terminated at another connector with a female to female adapter about 18"...- LoCascio_Inc
