Hey guys! So my 4l60e tranny in my 97 c1500 suddenly started acted funny. It will engage first gear and reverse, but other gears will not. I do have a tranny leak which I tried fixing by replacing the rear main seal and the output shaft seal however it still leaks. Dip stick showed to be dry...- aking284

No 2nd Gear?!
Hey gentleman! So I purchased a used 4l60e tranny for my 97 gmc c1500 along with a brand new torque converter. Installed everything only to find that there is no 2nd gear! UGGHH!! All other gears work beautifully! Any ideas fellas? Thank y’all!- aking284

Replaced tranny and torque converter…still no movement??
Hey guys, So I finally replaced the tranny (4l60e) and the torque converter in my 97 c1500. Added 1 gallon of trans fluid (I know I need more than that) but I only have the 1 gallon on hand. Hey Gentlemen! Question... My 97 C1500 will NOT move AT ALL! Nothing when put in drive or reverse HOWEVER, upon jacking up the truck, when shifted to the 3,2,1 gears, the back tires show slight slight movement (when on ground, they do nothing). Also, the pump shows no sign of activity...- aking284

RPM Increases, Truck Wont Budge!
I didnt see any metal pieces or anything that looked abnormal in the fluid when I removed the pan? Also, my code reader has been throwing a code saying the 02 sensor is out/faulty, that couldnt maybe have anything to do with it huh? Thank you!- aking284
