Hey guys,

A female here, so take it easy lol

My 97 C1500 suddenly completely quit accelerating as I was going down the highway.
Pulled over, checked my tans fluid, it was good.

Let truck sit for a few, started it back up, pressed the gas...RPM would increase however the truck wouldnt budge an inch!

I tried all gears including reverse and still nothing!

Please help guys, thank yall!

No movement in any gear is usually pump failure (rotor breaks up, etc), input shaft splines stripped, total torque converter failure or transfer case failure (4wd only).

Check your fluid level when engine's off...if it's way above the full mark and doesnt drop when you fire it up and check again, its pump.
