    I know these trucks sit 2” lower in the front end. To get it level would 2” shackles get me there or would I need to get smaller blocks in the back?

    Looking to replace my carpet on my 98 K1500, should I go with the option (Tan)? Here’s my color and here’s the LMC options. It’s the only pic I had of mine atm.

    I was able to turn it full rotation with a flathead under the truck when lining up the torque converter bolts

    I bolted the housing to the block first and then connected the converter. Weather is terrible out today so I was trying to get some ideas s what to look for when it warms back up. I appreciate the info

    I did notice when I was putting in the torque converter bolts that there was a little gap between the converter and the flywheel (when I tightened the bolts it pulled the converter forward to “fill” that small gap. Not sure if that has anything to do with stopping engine spinning over but wanted...

    Bought a 5.7 vortec with 118k on it, spun the flywheel over when looking at it to make sure it wasn't seized. It spun over easy. Fast forward to install, under the truck I was using a screwdriver to turn over the flywheel to run the converter bolts in, and again it spun over just fine. Grabbed...

    So if one was to run the Jegs off-road Y pipe, would you need to tune due to no cats? Or would the O2 sensors be fine reading without them in place? Trying to decide to either go back with factory cats or pick up a Jegs and slap it on. But don’t want to have to wire this, tune that, etc.
