    Im in central ok but ive always taken my 4l60s to quality gm transmission up in tulsa ok. Ive been around the block a few times with these 4l60s. Only ive never been given warning signs before.

    I did bleed the system, it got a new radiator at the same time. And didnt have issue with the heat until i replaced the climate controls, blower motor, and resistor. But ever since monday morning it blows good and hot so who knows whats goin on i havent changed anything.

    Whatever is “factory reccomended” is what the genuises at autozone gave me. And they talked me into this “failsafe” brand. Supposedly if it fails at all it will stick open no matter what. Think I should change it out?

    Not sure on brand ordered it on amazon. Ill give it a shot but i have doubts since they all do there job, air goes where its told to, it changes from cold to “luke warm” and the recirculate works good too.

    i havent tried the old resistor ill give it a shot though. And the old panel doesnt do anything at all now. Before the blower would blow on high with the ignition on no matter what. now the blower does nothing at all with the old one on any setting. Weird.

    Tps made no difference. I also ran the codes again and this time the tps code wasnt there? Who knows. If i can find the time this weekend ill try to throw the tcc valve “upgrade” in and see if that fixes it.

    Hmm, so in 3rd it gets into lockup and doesnt have an issue staying in at the typical speeds 4th cant hold lockup. Weird. At least when i get goin 60+ in 4th it holds lockup perfectly fine. Uphill and all.

    No 9 times out of 10 it shifts smooth as butter although ive noticed here and there it will shift kinda hard out of 1st but its pretty rare. Also if i put the shifter in “3” it will shift 1st-4th and not use lockup at all. Thats what ive been doing once i hit the backroads where i live. Out here...

    Sorry takin me a bit, i ordered a oem tps sensor that will be in by friday. And i went ahead and ordered a teckpak tcc upgrade kit since it was under $20. Ill try the tps and see if it fixes issue and either way its getting the tcc valve upgrade since i already purchased. Ill update with results...

    I was a tooth off, i was pointing rotor at the number 1 spark plug contact in the cap forgetting there was a “8” that is marked in the distributor where it needed to point.
