    DHarmon81's 1992 ECSB 1500 4x4

Hey thanks! I appreciate it. It's definitely been an extensive project and there is a lot more to go, but that's all the fun of it. The main issues are time and money like everything else but hopefully I can get more of both of those soon!

I got my bumper back on, painted up the axle and hangers, and detailed the truck yesterday. She is coming together.

Here is some photos of the Painless Wiring Hi-4 Mod, which is possibly my favorite mod so far. Works awesome and super easy to install! Then I went with a DDM Tuning HID kit. I run 35 watt 5k lows and 55 watt 5k highs. They work flawlessly so far and my only complaint is the three weeks it...

I also had to replace my transmission a few months ago, the original 700R4 quit on me, so I went with a new one that has 3 year, 36k mile warranty on it. So far so good.

    DHarmon81's 1992 ECSB 1500 4x4

So let me bring this build thread back from the dead if anyone is interested. Since last time I have been on here, I went ahead and did the hi-4 mod and a full DDM tuning HID upgrade. Also more importantly this weekend I FINALLY finished my SAS. I now have 8.5" of lift up front with a corporate...

Thanks man I read both of your build threads and I like both of yours. It would be sick if you Pre Runner that 2WD though!! It would be so bad ass with some glass and long travel!!

    DHarmon81's 1992 ECSB 1500 4x4

Thanks, I hope so. I know a 10 bolt front end isn't my best choice but it will work until I can get a Dana 60. Plus it was free :)

Nooooo lol, but that is a good find. I actually didn't realize it was there until you said something. We did the lift in my buddy's shop but his dad was swapping that out of a tahoe I believe. I'm going the opposite way, carbed 350 or 383. Haven't decided yet.

    DHarmon81's 1992 ECSB 1500 4x4

Thanks man! I love it but my crossmember for my lower arms is bent and I want a couple more inches so I'm going to do what I should have originally and straight axle her. Just waiting to save up so I can buy steering. Going with the WFO Concepts crossover steering, 2.5" Skyjacker springs, and a...

    DHarmon81's 1992 ECSB 1500 4x4

Well, It's been a while since I've been on this so sorry about abandoning this thread. Anyways, I'm back now and I've done quite a bit of work to the truck. I lifted it with a tuff country lift because I got a killer deal on it. Bought new 35x12.5 Coopers and Black Daytona's. I also replaced the...

Haha ironically I live in an apartment, above an empty storage warehouse that my uncle owns where there just happens to be a forklift. Funny enough I was just talking with my dad earlier and he suggested using it lol. Good call.

Haha hell yeah. I mean I'll have Hankook MT's in a 315/75R16 but aside from that very similar. Have to wait til tomorrow to get my jack and jack stands. ChrisAU any tips for the install? Doing this myself. First time ever.

I hope so. What rims are you running? I like those actually and I'm not a fan of chrome or anything shiny like I said but those are legit.

    DHarmon81's 1992 ECSB 1500 4x4

Hey thanks everyone. Yeah ChrisAU your truck is bad ass, I read your entire thread. I actually just ordered a 6" RCX lift myself. And I want tow mirrors too. Thinking I might go with a black DeeZee headache rack and black toolbox too. I'm not trying to copy you but I wanted that for the longest...

    DHarmon81's 1992 ECSB 1500 4x4

Hey what's up guys I'm new here, love the site though. Always looking at it and pulling ideas off other trucks. Figured it was about time to make a "build thread" I guess. Basically just where the truck has come from since I've bought it up until now. Honestly I probably could have a new truck...

    Black Coffee's 98' RCSB 4wd build thread

I've read that post a few times over to make sure I got you right. So, wouldn't it be easier to flat bed the current truck and then do the motor and tranny swap to the tahoe? Or am I way off base. Then your mud truck would already have a lift and save you cutting frames and doing a body swap...

    Black Coffee's 98' RCSB 4wd build thread

Wow.... I stumbled upon this thread because I saw your sig on another post. That is a bad ass rig. I also was surprised because I live in SF and when I first moved back from Oregon in June I was staying in Menlo Park and saw Solid94's truck parked off El Camino lol. I noticed it a lot because I...
