    Happened a few years back, changed the cap n rotor and all was good for 8 years. Just started happening again but new cap n rotor didn't solve the issue this time. After the sun comes out for a couple hours it fires right up and runs great again. Any ideas what to look for? No codes

    ECM question

    Anyone have an ECM go bad? Symptoms? I'm having some issues that I can't diagnose. Hope to have a scanner on it tomorrow. Feels like a bad fuel pump or clogged converter. Starts for a second or two then dies.

    98 C1500 4.3 hard start

    Just bought this truck not running. Did a complete tune-up, cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Also cleaned MAF. Starts but wont rev over 1500rpm. Removed Converter, same. Tested and replaced fuel pump, same problem. I don't have a scanner but the cel is on. Any common issues to check and ways to test?

    Wiring help needed

    Does anyone know where I can find a schematic for a 98 Chevy C1500? Particularly the ignition circuit. Also does anyone know what the AUX. A and Aux B terminals are used for on the under hood breaker box? I have an orange wire paired with a blue wire that looks like it connects there. Thanks

    Just bought a 98 C1500 W/T. Did'nt run but I got it really cheap($500) and the body/interior is really clean. Florida truck with no rust. Previous owner says he tried removing the aftermarket alarm system and now it wont even crank. Steering column is torn apart and wires are hanging everywhere...
