Suburban body to P/U frame swap

I've got a 92 suburban which is 2wd, and a 94 k2500 that has a shot body and solid frame. Am I able to just slide the suburban body on the ext cab, long bed frame? Both wheelbases are 131.5 inches. I know I need to cut holes for shifter and such, but will I need custom mounts? Are the frames the...

Speedometer Bounced at 10 MPH, Then Stopped Working?

I have a 94' GMC Sierra, 2500, and the speedometer went out. The cruise control no longer works either. Not sure whats wrong with it. All other gauges work too. The gauge and brake fuses are also good. Can anyone help? I'm clueless.

Gas-Fume Conversion for V8

I plan on getting my o2 sensor fixed this Friday, and would that be related to my service engine light coming on at about 50 mph? And does anyone know where I can find an o2 sensor (wire extender)? Thanks!

O2 Sensor Effect?

I have a 94' GMC Sierra 2500, 5.7 350ci. A while back the o2 sensor was taken off, but never replaced. How much does this effect my mpg? I figure its about 6.5-7mpg as is now. If I add one, how much will it boost my mpg? Also does anyone know what o2 sensor this truck takes? (2 or 4 plug).

Need advice for picking an axle.

I have a 1993 Chevy 3500, 454, 4wd. I plan on adding a lift kit (4in or more) as well as big tires. What axle would provide the best advantage for drag races? My budget is reasonably small, however any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I intend to beef up the engine so they need to be able to...

No, I'd like to keep the 454, I'm considering a diesel swap with my 94' gmc 2500 though. However not for a few years. I'm just trying to figure out what would give the most power, as well as being insanely fun to drive.

So what parts could I add that give the most power? That wouldn't be limited to the fuel injection? I intend on drag racing, as well as driving this truck for fun, so mpg isn't a concern.

Is it worth it to oversize the cams, bore it over .7 and shave the heads? I was also thinking maybe cold air intake as well as dual quad carbs and a methanol injection kit, good idea or no?
