Front and rear diffs are GL5 rated 80W-90 with no friction modifiers. Transfer case is Dexron 6 if you don't have the "Auto" button for the 4WD, GM AutoTrak 2 if you do.
Incorrect info the T cases take dexron III. Auto track is for a different model/year of truck .Not for GMT 400 models.

In my Transfer Case I’m using Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF. This is from Mobil site:

You are correct, I made that post before I found the GM TSB that states not to use Dex 6 in transfer cases that originally called for Dex 3.

Electronic shift is what you mean by auto right?

I was referring to the NP246 transfer cases that actually have an "Auto 4WD" button on the switch. Like this:

@evilunclegrimace I do believe some of the later GMT400 SUVs (Maybe the '99+ classic body style?) got the NP246 that takes the Auto-Trak 2 fluid, though. I know there have been a few members here with the "Auto 4WD" switch in Suburbans.

I thought Dextron 3 is no longer made or something like that and to use Dextron 6?
Find ATF that is DEXRON III compatible. Your switch probably looks more like this.

Dexron 3 is no longer licensed by GM, but it's still made by several other companies. GM recommends Dexron 6 as a replacement in most situations, except in transfer cases or power steering systems that originally called for Dexron 3.

Like @Caman96 said, if you only have 2HI/4HI/4LO on the switch then Dexron 3 (Or GM part number 88861800 Manual Transmission/Transfer Case Fluid) is what you want.

My manuals only go to 1998, I will have to find a 1999 and see what the spec is.
