I know its not the most appropriate for the thread, but I have to share a somewhat opposite situation I came across traveling in the UK. Driving southeast of London on the way to Durdle Door back in May 2023, I spot a 3/4ton suburban here. Was the first (and only) 90's GM truck I had seen on the island. I had to pull in and take a peek (hoping it was in fact RHD to be able to take pictures). It was not however, though it was clearly meant for export markets (from the US) as all dash instrumentation was metric. Seemed to be 1995 vintage. I thought I took a picture of the VIN, but can't find it now. The dash indicates 16xxx km, which seems unbelievable given its age, but it was in good shape. Dealership was closed so I couldn't ask any questions. They certainly weren't going to let it go cheap though...

come on now man you know the rule happy wife happy life maybe it is because I can not drive but I find it appealing to be driven around buy a good looking woman in a 4x4 if she can drive a stick go offroading and know a bit about turning wrenches that even better
I keep telling her she can drive it but she doesn't want to. All she can think about is all the stuff she would hit since it's way bigger than her car. Funny thing is that with the big mirrors, and reversing camera and sitting so high, it has far better visibility than her car and if she did hit something she probably wouldn't feel it.

I think the Canadian built ones have metric gauges, there are plenty on here that could confirm that. I have a friend down here that has a K1500 that is LHD and has metric gauges and his was imported from Japan, but probably originated in Canada.

There's at least one other GMT 400 Burb in the UK (at least until Scotland gets independence), @Pinger has a '99 C2500 Burb, he's in NE Scotland IIRC. His is pewter metallic like mine(1 of every 3 1999 Suburbans were painted that color!).
His is LHD as well.

That looks like a Canadian model. The graphic for the fuel gauge (rather than the letters E and F) is the giveaway that it was produced for a dual language market. Other markings (cruise, brake etc) will likely be graphics as well, but they're not visible in the picture.

I think I answered my own question since the standard model carpet is still used in the RHD models as well. The foot slider bit where the gas pedal normally is, is still there.
