I didn't really like the look of the chevorlet grill so I got a gmc grill and a billet insert and had a buddy paint it for me.
I also pulled out all the junk suspension that was under the truck and bought a Belltech 4/7 drop.
Front: 2" spindles/ 2" springs
Rear: 6" with the flip kit and a 1" shackle
While I was in there I replaced upper/lower control arms and tie rods, wheel bearings, rotors and pads. And got an alignment.
I found a set of wheels for cheap, that for now will move the truck around and makes it more drivable. The rear tires scrub just the tiniest amount due to them being too big. But it's better than the rallies that were on it.

I had to go another inch in the rear to level it because these rear tires measure almost 32" tall and the truck had a rake on it.
Thats pretty much how the truck is sitting now with the exception of a tonneau cover. Towards the middle of October the 4l60 started giving me issues. It's drivable however you have to leave it in 3rd until 45mph and then manually shift it into O.D.
I've collected a pile of parts for the next round of upgrades:
-Billet Specialties Streetlites F:18x6 ,R:17x10
-Mickey Thompson E/T Street 305/45 17
-Mickey Thompson Front sportsman 28x6x18
-Moser Fab9/back brace, narrowed 4", 4.11 gear, Aluminum 3rd member, True-trac limited slip, Torino big bearing ends and Wilwood Dynalite 4 piston brakes, 5/8 Screw in studs, billet 1350 yoke
- FTI Th400 (Stage 5) with brake and billet valve body
-Derale trans cooler with fan and -6 lines
-Motion Raceworks operator shifter
-Powermaster starter
-Cal-tracs bars
I still need to pick up a 6 piston Wilwood kit for the front brakes. I'm still up in the air on which brake master I'm going to get, probably go with one of the electric units. And I am going to get an anti-roll bar to install for the rear when I do the 9in swap. I still need rear shocks. I'm considering doing the split mono leaf in the rear, and ditching the drop spindles for a set of drop lca's and a set if the moroso trick springs but I've still got some time to figure that out.
