I've shot them an email requesting some information when i was considering ordering some door bushings, no reply.
It's a major disconnect with a LOT of businesses, and has been for decades. For whatever reason, many companies are awful at returning emails. It may be that they don't have someone dedicated to checking/responding, they could be overwhelmed with spam, or.. who knows?

As Caman said, phone call usually gets things handled. Reminds me of when I called Gorilla because I was having a hell of a time finding the part #s on their website for their "System" locks (whole box of locking lugs) for several vehicles. Lady that answered the phone was super friendly and got me the part #s I needed right away. Pretty helpful considering they don't even sell direct. Oh, then passed me along to someone that quickly answered my question about ordering duplicate keys for my existing sets (there was a price difference on the two different labels I had.) Good customer service is such a nearly forgotten old-school concept now; it's nice when you have a positive experience anymore.

upgrade to 11.x Duo-Servo rear drums
This!!! ....is what I really rather do, but my search for said parts has been fruitless! I have the unusual 1990 SS 454 rear end under my truck already, but of course it has the "crappy Leading/Trailing shoe drums". Can I just buy new backing plates/drums/shoes/hardware for a particular application that will fit the 5 lug axles, bolt to the ends of the axle assembly, and hook to my E brake cables? If so what is that particular application? Suburbans? Police units? 87 down C1500?

Reopening this post....as this is still not resolved. The rearend I installed in my truck (5 lug 14 bolt from a 90 454 SS) did not have backing plates when I got it, and, after measuring the backing plate mounting flanges and finding they matched, I just removed the axles and put the entire working drum brake assemblies from the 10 bolt onto the 14 bolt. What I originally wanted to know is #1, can I buy the entire Dual Servo rear drum brake assemblies, including drums, backing plates and emergency brake components? If so WHERE? #2, what parts (calipers, master cylinder) do I buy to eliminate the QTU brake system AND the antilock rear brakes? I have searched this forum numerous times but there are so many variables it just makes my head spin. TIA, jt

RARE!

Whatever gets you working brakes at all four wheels, I guess.

Treasure Yard. Good luck.

#2, what parts (calipers, master cylinder) do I buy to eliminate the QTU brake system AND the antilock rear brakes?
You don't need to eliminate either one. Make them work properly.

Getting rid of the antilock, especially, is just silly.

was the 454ss actually different than the two normal drum offerings for 10 bolt and 9.5" 14 bolt? isnt it just the 11" option internally and then drums would be the tough part?

i assume you checked rock auto and the dealer and such?
