It has no codes or check engine light that's one of the the things puzzling me because I feel that it should

I have changed everything at this point except distributor and a crank sensor

Connect a scan tool, look at the data stream. Verify EVERY sensor. Make sure the engine is not running in "Limp Home" mode, or that some (aftermarket?) security system is unhappy.

Stop looking for "codes". Start looking at the data stream.
