    Headers or iron manifolds?

So, here are the headers I was considering. I figure that nothing I do (other than stock) is going to "bolt up", so I fully expect to do some fabrication.

    Headers or iron manifolds?

Thanks for the info, guys! My manifolds are ok, condtion-wise. Just figured they would be undersized, like many of the components of the tbi engines. I am looking now at y-pipes...summit and jegs have one for about $300 made by JBA, that I am sure is very nice...but seems like a lot of dough...

    Headers or iron manifolds?

Stock 350 is getting a mild cam, early 70's heads (1.94 x 1.50), 600 cfm carb, edelbrock performer intake, hei dist. I am not looking to squeeze every ounce of power, but I...

Hello! I am putting a new engine in my 88 truck. Figured I should replace motor mounts and clean the cross member. Any tricks for accessing the nuts besides disassembling the front suspension? Looks like I need to pull the front springs?? Thanks.

    Fuel system question

Hello all! I am building a carbureted engine for my 88 truck. 350 inch with mild cam and vortec heads. I have heard that the stock pump doesn't produce enough volume for what I am doing. I would prefer to stick with an electric pump. Wondering if I should use a later model (2000-ish) pump and...

    First carb swap

I have most everything figured out, but wondering what other people have done for a fuel pressure regulator? I was planning on keeping the stock pump and using a regulator...
