Hey thanks! I appreciate it. It's definitely been an extensive project and there is a lot more to go, but that's all the fun of it. The main issues are time and money like everything else but hopefully I can get more of both of those soon!
Here is some photos of the Painless Wiring Hi-4 Mod, which is possibly my favorite mod so far. Works awesome and super easy to install!
Then I went with a DDM Tuning HID kit. I run 35 watt 5k lows and 55 watt 5k highs. They work flawlessly so far and my only complaint is the three weeks it...
I also had to replace my transmission a few months ago, the original 700R4 quit on me, so I went with a new one that has 3 year, 36k mile warranty on it. So far so good.
So let me bring this build thread back from the dead if anyone is interested. Since last time I have been on here, I went ahead and did the hi-4 mod and a full DDM tuning HID upgrade. Also more importantly this weekend I FINALLY finished my SAS. I now have 8.5" of lift up front with a corporate...

Thanks man I read both of your build threads and I like both of yours. It would be sick if you Pre Runner that 2WD though!! It would be so bad ass with some glass and long travel!!
Nooooo lol, but that is a good find. I actually didn't realize it was there until you said something. We did the lift in my buddy's shop but his dad was swapping that out of a tahoe I believe. I'm going the opposite way, carbed 350 or 383. Haven't decided yet.
Thanks man! I love it but my crossmember for my lower arms is bent and I want a couple more inches so I'm going to do what I should have originally and straight axle her. Just waiting to save up so I can buy steering. Going with the WFO Concepts crossover steering, 2.5" Skyjacker springs, and a...
Well, It's been a while since I've been on this so sorry about abandoning this thread. Anyways, I'm back now and I've done quite a bit of work to the truck. I lifted it with a tuff country lift because I got a killer deal on it. Bought new 35x12.5 Coopers and Black Daytona's. I also replaced the...
Haha ironically I live in an apartment, above an empty storage warehouse that my uncle owns where there just happens to be a forklift. Funny enough I was just talking with my dad earlier and he suggested using it lol. Good call.
