I had mine tuned to whatever black bear does for mail in 87 octane. It primarily had better throttle response and held hills better. I gained a couple mpg too. I never did any dyno testing though. Definitely worth what it costs.

The 285s will look great. I was going to go that route but I got some 15" wheels from an 80-something so I went to 32s instead. Like has been said you may need a little crank but they'll look great. Nice ride! I wish mine was still that clean looking!

I had mine tuned back when it was still an auto and it had better response all around, not just pertaining to shifting. did mine and even for a stick shift id have them do it again. Made a noticeable improvement.

It depends... I have Cooper STTs on those wheels that are 32x11.5 and they don't rub, but im cranked way up and if i hit a bump too fast while turning they rub for a second.
That might just be me though, i have a feeling my front springs are VERY worn out.
