    I'd like to do something with my 350 tbi...My local guy said he'd build it out to a 383 stroker for me but wants $3800 to do it.     Yep, just a plain old heavy half I guess, I did find out the rpo jb6 and c5s are bigger brakes (7200lb rated ) and 6700lb gvr.

    Ok, I never even knew about the f44 rpo...is it just 14b rear end and bigger back brakes, Or is there a chassis difference? My truck also has a factory single in duel out exhaust passenger side exit that I've only seen on a couple 90' and 91's.

    Gotcha, I know this is the third 88-98 1500 I've had and the only one with the 14b. I've yet to see another, and when I know someone with one I always look at the rpo codes to see what combo they are.

    Well not "all original" I put the 92-94 high back bucket seats in it..88-91 had low back bench-style buckets..I have them in storage though.

    I had that same thing happen in my 91' added some freon and it fixed it...this may or may not be off topic, the buttons don't always respond on my controls, like sometimes ac won't click on, or the "high" blower position won't work so on and so forth, bad or old solder?,
