    If you are getting smoke out of the throttle body it's compression issues which your mechanic checked or the PCV system is messed up somehow. The PCV system issue might be why the PO put on the vented cap and catch cans. Wonder why the NAPA filter didn't fit.

    I had the same problem and I really, really hate to fess up to this but for me I put the spring at the bottom the shoes on the wrong side. Flipped it for behind the shoes to on the drum side and the problem

    By using the 2WD oil filter setup you are giving up the oil cooler in the radiator. Not a big deal but the same type of issue is found on our GMT400 for the oil cooler lines. I am planning on using AN fittings and braided hose when I restore my oil cooler on my 2001 ZR2 Blazer. Nice progress...

    Exhasut systems

    I agree with Carguy77 except for the turn down. Gibson makes quality stuff but for these trucks too pricey for me. Like it a lot on my 2001 bBlazer. Like the Magna flow cats but not that cat back as much on my 97. I am not a Flowmaster fan especially the stupid one on my wife’s Envoy Denali.
