Ill wash it n keep it nice, im just sayin it wont be an all show no go truck. Im borrowing the HD compressor from work for the weekend to get some sand blasting done and my rims are one of the things im doin. Paintin them a nice matte black like they are but just better than what i did before.

Thats true but if you were me, and after ALL of that god damn sanding you wouldnt wanna do anymore  i like it as it is, and like i said im repainting it once i get a new southern box. Possibly an OD green or primer grey. Havent decided yet. Then again thats probably 2 years down the road. Who knows what its gonna look like then
Wet sanding and buffing is the easiest sanding you will ever do. Also gives the coolest feeling when its done

I feel like sanding to bare metal was well worth it. I thought about just clear coating the bare metal it looks kinda sweet that way

Its crazy how fast surface rust starts with it being bare metal like that. I would leave it for the night and come back and there would be a 1" round area of surface rust in a spot I had just sanded.... :nono:

I'm still contemplating restoring mine completely. Take it all apart and sand to bare metal and have a local place called prp industries lay their polymerizing cost Down for a primer.

Good idea but extremely time consuming

If I have a house with a heated barn I have winters off and nothing to do. Tear the truck apart and send stuff out to get painted. Run out of cash and go find a plow gig.
