Hey guys.
So I picked up a new (to me) GMT400 to replace my old one.
Old one:
98 K2500 ext cab short box.
Drive by wire LM7 5.3L mated to rebuilt 4l80e.
Hydroboost swap from 05 Tahoe 1500.
ABS delete, proportioning valve from earlier GMT400.
Alarm starter, DVD player (2din with custom bezel), backup camera above receiver (easy trailer hookup).
Helper bags in rear.
Rebuilt/resealed everything suspension and drivetrain wise.
Spray in boxliner and spray on rockers.
Power window/mirror and door panel swap from a high trim model.
I dragged 2 of these trucks out of a field. Blown 350, well used, paid $760. Made my money back (on the initial investment alone) parting out the one I didn't keep. Figured out the 5.3 swap as I went. Wiring harness from Nelson, Dirty Dingo engine mounts. Been an awesome truck. The notion of selling it is difficult since I've got so much time (and some money) into it.
