This. I would like mine fully restored with all the tech of a 900, including the 5.3. Would be better than any new truck, IMO.

I like the gadgets but they are so tied into computers it makes adding and modifying things increasingly difficult. I want the gadgets but also want to be able to work on the damn thing.

And you can have the 5.3, nothing special in my book. 6.2L or D-max all the way. The 6.0L isn't bad either. Of course none of the new gas motors can hold a candle to my 454 except when it comes to unloaded mileage.

Dodge is also redesigning the 1500 on their side as well, but they have been really quiet about that too.

Dodge hasn't been too quiet. Motor Trend had a full story as far back as April 2012. There have been a few stories since as well.

With the amount of people (around here anyways) that buy a diesel 3/4 ton just to have a diesel an never work it hard, I think they would sell pretty good. I would definitely go look at one but I seriously doubt I would buy one new. New vehicle prices are waayy outta hand. I would wait for them to start being wrecked an put a baby dmax in my 400.....
