The guy behind the parts counter at your local stealership may be able to provide you with some schematics of the internals of the seat, too.

Oh yea, there are small wheels inside the tracks themselves. They are held in with a bump in the metal of the track, at either end. Sometimes those wheels get past the retaining bump & fall out. Should be at least two wheels in there. If not, that will cause the tracks to operate poorly, if at all.

Ok stupid question but gonna ask. On a 60/40 with fold down console mine has arm rest without plastic console. Will one with a plastic console fit and bolt in? I'm talking about fold done console. Any help would be great .

I am currently doing a ground up resto on a 90 rcsb. I painted the truck black, it was origionally yellow. When i pulled the dash and painted that aswell and reinstalled the dash i notice that there was a strip of yellow running down the whole length of the windshield between where the dash stops and the windshield is. On some trucks you wouldnt see it because the black tinting travels farther up the windshield and on my mother's 2011 2500 ltz, there is a black rubber stripping that goes over the end of the dash that covers that same spot. Is there a such thing for my 90 chevy or would i have to pull the dash back out which is a pain in the ass and would result in dropping the steeringwheel and trying to get the dash back far enough to paint it. If there is such a stripping where would i get it?

Hey thanks a lot I hope it works!

Straight up swap. Just use the shorter 10mm bolts on the right side that come with the console armrest.
