Can we at least show a stock, lifted or lowered GMT400 in pics with a bike in the back, to at least keep the thread "close" to what I meant when I started it?

Just one of these pics in the next 25 responses would be good.
I apologize, we kinda got derailed here. This is not totally uncommon on this site either.

yes we derail get sidetracked and get off on tangents some times or get stuck on a joke but we all way get back on track again at some point
These are my favourite kind of threads, they are like road trips, you just never know where you are going to end up and that's the fun part. No disrespect to the OP though.

Sometimes I think, what if I lifted my truck and put some great looking rims and tires on it? That would look cool! Then I realize I'm a 55 YO, white male and I'd probably look a little goofy trying to be like the HS kids I teach. So, I'll stay conservative and keep everything stock. That's not because a lifted truck doesn't look great, it's simply because those years are behind me. As @GrimsterGMC said, it's really about what makes us feel good. I get plenty of looks and questions about my OEM setup (and yes, it feels good to be acknowledged that keeping it that way is OK too).

You can only be young once....but you can be immature forever!!!!
I'm 48 and just dropped my truck in September.
Can't wait to roll it out in the spring and show the kids how it's done.
I thought of lifting mine and putting some bigger tires, but then... yeah, I am 62 and I thought ... ehhh... maybe not... I like it the way it sits now anyway... maybe just some new treads....
