Vehicle is 99” 5.7L suburban
So after changing out my heater core lines and removing my air box to get to them . I realized after installing the air box and plugging in the maf sensor , I gave my air box a snug little shake and it stalled my truck. I said wtf so I ran scan tool and I have a p0102 MAF Low volt input . I Erase code start truck wiggle the MAF connector around and Code comes back .
Seems that it could be the “yellow wire” has a bad connection and I read that it may be a common issue .The loom and plug was twisted so it could have just eroded or messed up the connection in the plug End.
Wanted input on whether this is likely the pigtail going bad or the actual pins on the MAF Itself ?
Ironically i changed my crank shaft sensor and new GM Pigtail last month
Rock auto part #PT2782 and it states that is also the same replacement part # for the MAF plug/pigtail .
I have a spare they sent me two so wasn’t sure if this was true or not I can just splice in that extra Crank shaft sensor pigtail .
What’s the chances it just the wiring or the maf pins ?
