OxDEADBEEF I think the factory gage panel left ratty and dirty, but with dakota digital gages lit up under the glass would be really cool. I'm partial to blue, but they have them in several colors. The fuel gage could probably be programmed easily for your GM sender unit. BTW I love the 67 Texas tags. I have a set of 67 texas tags for my 67 cuda.
I haven't decided what to do with the gauges yet. The temp gauge used to work so I could stick a sender in the cooling system somewhere for it and then I would only be missing the speedo and oil light (which is about useless). I think it would be cool to find some kind of GPS signal to spinny thing for the speedo.
I was thinking about getting the Holley digital dash for a while, it has GPS for the speedo, or you can do the VSS if you have the T-X Max (I don't).
Really am not planning on doing much to the interior in general. I love the "I'm going to need a tetanus shot" look. I did get some sound deadening/heat reflective stuff to apply to make it bearable on longer trips. I think I'm going to put it under the cab though, so you can't see it. I put part of an old bed mat in the floorboard and it made a huge difference to my ears and feet.
