I currently have a grueling 1/4 mile commute to work and back everyday, so I’ve decided to get an economical mode of transportation to also keep the destructive mileage down on my trucks.
I picked up this 1964 International Cub Cadet 124 for $300. It is all original, powered by a 12hp single cylinder Kohler. 3spd plus reverse manual transmission with a hi-lo “creeper drive”.
I got it fired up after some points filing and fresh gas only to realize that the friction material from the clutch was being flung in a 10’ radius. 6 months later, I have a new clutch assembly, cheap Chinese carb and a new seat so the project can begin!
