A few months ago, I go to this car show, and a guy pulls up in a convertible C2. He was about 5 foot 8 maybe, and he just for in the car. I didn't realize just how small the interior of a c2 is. As nice as a c2 looks, they are very small on the inside.

I'm not small and I barely fit in my C8. It took me 10 minutes of messing with the seat so I could wear my helmet.

Still, where there's a will, there's a way.

I took a ride in a c8 a little while back. Getting in was a chore. Getting out, easier, but at 5 foot 10 inches tall, I fit good once I was in, but a 275 LBS, It was a little tight, but not uncomfortable. I really want a c3 and can see one in my future. I have been in a few.

I have the competition seats, just to make my life extra difficult.

We have a regular guy at the car shows, who offers the regulars, (who are there most of the time) to drive his c8. Keep on mind that there are a lot of of Corvettes there. So I told him a while back, that I didn't want to drive it, but I wanted to go for a ride in it. I said I want to see what it will do. So He takes me for a ride, and when we get back to the car show up, the Corvette guys ask, what I thought. I said, man, that will out a smile on your face. They all said, well, you need to get one, and you have to do is sign your name. I said, yeah I know, but I hate payments. I would be just as happy with a 400 plus HP, c3, and I can do that for a lot less money. I also like the sadisfaction of building it myself, and seeing the looks on people's face when they see what you have done.

All the Corvettes I've ever been in (C2, C4, C5, C6) have been too small for me to be comfortable in. Granted I'm a big dude, but still. Other sports cars are just as bad, my dream car is a 911 turbo and part of the reason I want one is because I can fit in the damn things!

Yeah, if you can't fit in a later era 911 you are a BIG dude. I rode passenger in one at COTA and I was sliding all over the place. I think I was about 300 lbs at that time.

I'm 6'6 300 ish

I'm 6'2". All torso, I have stumpy legs. Anyways, have you tried on a C8 yet? I bet you fit. I know a few dudes your size who have them.

I'm probably like 6'1" these days. My kid is 6'3" and sometimes it feels like he towers over me. Getting old and shrinking.

I'm 51 so I feel old, but not shrinking yet. Got an 18 year old who's 6'9, it's weird looking up at him.

I haven't had the chance to sit in a C8, but my wife wants one when her current Camaro is paid off, so that's good news.

Fact is, a C2 is far roomier inside than a C3. Before buying a C3, test fit a C2.

This Bostonian has owned this 1967 big-block coupe for many years, and still gets a thrill out of racing it. You go, Gramps!
