Looks like i may have found a suspension kit that fits my needs that is just a step above doing a T bar crank. It is a 2" lift kit from Skyjacker that includes A arms and diff drop brackets along with AALs as well as various models of shocks

http://skyjacker.com/product.php?ProdID=18607 Kit with Hydro Shocks
http://skyjacker.com/product.php?ProdID=18610 Kit with Nitro Shocks

Please don't. Those are glorified torsion bar cranks. It does not drop your torsion bars or your lower control arms, does nothing for your lower ball joints (actually makes them wear much worse than stock) or sway bar or tie rods. That kit is just as big of a piece of junk as a 2-3" RCX kit if not more.

Well if that is not an acceptable method i guess im not lifting my truck at all. Because i did some more measuring today and found out i will NOT clear if i go to a 6" lift kit.

Well if you get one of those 2-3" kits (no matter the manufacturer) you will be replacing front end parts very often. Especially with the heavy diesel.

Wouldnt i be facing that problem with the T bar crank anyway?

Not as bad actually. Those kits allow you to go futher out of spec than the stock upper control arms will, destroying your front end at a much faster rate. And it will be much cheaper to just crank the stock ones.
