Never ending project that was in Roadkill magazine once.
I'm so over this cold weather! Got some stuff to clean up the look of the inside, but its just sitting there for now. Looks better.
This weekend is looking decent.
Finally had a nice day out, so i spent the afternoon doing some teardown on the 04 Grand Prix. Since im cutting the whole thing up, figured I'd have some fun trolling the Pontiac groups on facebook while im at it. The results are hilarious.
Got more hacking done, if i hooked up some sort of a fuel tank with pump the thing would still run and move! Im debating what i want to do with it, but i was perhaps thinking about a rwd rear engine small pickup, something like Roadkills Mazdarati.who knows when I'd get around to it.
Got a few updates. Got some dirt and put it under the hood of the Chevy, planted some nice vine plants that should look nice by summer.
Im debating on selling this thing, I've got so much else i want to get done first.
I picked this thing up dirt cheap last week, and got a brand new engine put in for free. Just need to sort out paperwork and it will possibly be one of the best flips I've ever had!
Picked this beast up last night. 2500 Burb. 6.0, 4L80E, 4.10s, 2wd. Runs and drives great, but its rusty. Not bad for $500, ill be selling the other 6.0 ive had saved for a future project, should make a few bucks off of it.
did they pontiac guys ever reply lol? you can send that 6.0 my way if ya cant find anything to do with it lol
How do you get a free engine installed? Also, how the hell do you find so much cheap shit? Dealer auctions?
Oh yeah, so many of them thought I was serious, even after putting up a picture of the back end up on my trailer ready for scrap. Way too many comments to paste into here haha
99% of my purchases are through Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. The engines in 2011-13 Sonatas are under recall where regardless of mileage and owner, if its knocking or blown up you get a free replacement. Same with some Santa Fes and Kias too.
