My 93 K1500 had a bench but no arm rest. I drove with my left hand due to driving manual for 20 years. I would use a backpack to rest the arm on. I couldn't find one with an arm rest in good condition so I modified the bucket seats and center console of a 2018 Silverado and installed it.

The 40/60 split didn't have an armrest. The solid bench in 93' did though.

The 40/60 is a much better seat but I do miss the arm rest when I swapped mine over in my 93'.

I am waiting on a few parts to arrive so that I can get the engine put back together. In the mean time, I decided to pull the driveshafts and drop them off to get new u-joints installed. The rear transfer case seal was a little bit crusty so I went ahead and replaced it while the driveshaft was out.
