I have the heads back on. And the motor itself is complete I just have a few more odds and ends to get. I am planning on putting it in the truck in 3 or 4 weeks.

Very nice build! It's so refreshing to see someone actually doing thing's, rather than googling them and telling people why they can't do things lol.

Motor is in and basically completed, it's further along than these pictures but I was tired last night and didn't get any new pictures. I'm going to try to start it today.

Nice smooth looking intake tract. Are you planning to enclose/insulate the exposed air filter? Are you planning to feed it "outside air"?

Yes. I am about halfway through getting it done. It comes from the side of the fender goes between the maf and filter adapter so it acts as a mount too. Then it'll turn towards the front of the truck and will actually in capsule the battery too. There is only like 3/4" to 1" of space from the front of the filter to the side of the battery. I don't want it to short the battery that's why it'll be in the box too. I've also cut the hole in the side of the fender probably 3 times bigger than stock. And the box won't be sealed from the engine bay it's more to keep mud and water off the filter.

And the video. It needs a tune in a bad way so I haven't run it much more since it doesn't want to idle.

I need to figure out why my tach isn't working and I think I may have my distributor off a tooth. So just a couple things I need to figure out.
