I think I'm just going to buy another sleeve. It's maybe $40 (new from GM) and just not worth any more hassle on this one.I don’t envy the cup removal job, pulling press fit stuff out, one side at a time IS NOT FUN. Especially when it’s aluminum and you can’t manhandle it.
Do you have 2 similarly sized screwdrivers or something you can leverage in both grooves at the same time? At least enough to get a 2 finger puller in it?
Ah ok, that makes sense. So have to remove cup first. I'll keep turning. I've been turning and turning and turning. LOLI thought it was behind the cup
