Yeah, the boot is molded onto the ring which sits underneath the tabs.

Then a funky shaped washer is under the boot/ring.

I've never seen a joint like this before. I'll have to see what I can find out about it and replacement parts.
I don’t know what they’re called either. They have them on the scout I’m restoring. It’s extremely similar. I wonder if they are interchangeable. I’ll try to remember to find the one I did

Apparently these intermediate shafts were quite common. Used for decades on various makes. I still have to search for the proper fitting parts. The boot is the main concern.

I think I saw where someone purchased a new GM joint in the last couple of months, here on the forum..... posted the part number, too, I believe.
