What technology to the editor buttons use? ....... I can't see them!

So I just noticed that the editor buttons are no longer labeled for me. If I run the mouse over them, I get the dialog. I have no idea what to even search for, to fix this. I'm running Kubuntu Linux, not Windows.

The text editor box doesn't cooperate with the "Darkness" forum skin. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the "Black Smart" forum skin; it should work then.

Thanks...... I thought, I could see it before, but maybe not. I had to go into my settings to change it. I don't get a pull down, when using the default skin. I'm not sure I like this Black Smart skin, but I guess it'll have to do.
